Postpartum Pilates

Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 10-12 weeks post c-section.

This is a 6 class program with each class approx 30 minutes long (week one is 45 minutes to include important education on your pelvic floor health).

You will have access to this program for the duration of 10 weeks to allow for some extra time to move on as you feel fit and also as after having a baby can be a busy time for mum!

The program was designed my Physical Therapist and Pilates instructor Margaret while she was herself was in the postpartum stage or the “ 4th trimester” Each week focuses on educating you on pelvic floor health , covers topics like diastasis recti and what to be aware of and it also educates you on the importance of rebuilding your body safely, slowly whilst restoring you physically and mentally.

The final class , class six brings in some functional exercise and movements and again Margaret wants to educate you on the importance of rebuilding. So to be “fit for life” for pushing , pulling ,bending and lifting. Ensuring you are safe and strong, taking you on the first step and knowing you are ready to progress back to your chosen sport or activity, that you enjoyed pre pregnancy
